Show Me State Series

A political leadership development program for fast-tracking and mainstreaming outstanding Missouri woman into positions of influence in the public arena. Up to 20 woman are selected annually through an application and interview process to participate in the training, which is lead by local, state and national Republican leaders. Our program is comprised of a series of events held once a month at various locations across Missouri, January through May. The monthly events provide opportunities for the participants to learn from experts in the fields of communication, ethics, public policy, fund-raising and more. Participants have the chance to travel across the state to learn about Missouri history and politics at the grassroots level. They will also be given an opportunity to meet Republican leaders and government officials across the state and in Washington D.C. The Show Me State Excellence in Public Service Series is an expansion of the Lugar Series in Indiana.
